If you’ve been following the news lately, perhaps you’ve noticed that the topic of rape is still viewed as debatable in some circles. The truth, though, is that no human being, no matter the circumstances, deserves to be the victim of a non-consensual act against their person. No rape is justifiable, nor is any other act of violence. It’s also worth noting that reported instances of forced sex are on the rise in Indiana, and that Indiana unfortunately has the second highest rate of forced sexual intercourse in the nation.
